Secunderabad-Rajdhani Express is a passenger train from Indian railway connecting Hyderabad, the state capital of Andhra Pradesh and the national capital Delhi. The train runs from Secunderabad to Hazrat Nizamuddin. This train falls in the category of prestigious Rajdhani Express trains in India.
Unlike other Rajdhani trains, this train runs only once in a week. 12438 Sec'bad-Rajdhani express departs Hazrat Nizamuddin on Sundays at 16:00 hrs and reaches Secunderabad the next days at 14:00 hrs. In the return journey, 12437 express departs Secunderabad on Wednesdays at 12:45 hrs and reaches Nizaumddin station the next morning at 10:20 hrs.
Like all rajdhani expresses, the passengers are provided with complementary 4-course meals: breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Blankets and pillows are provided to the passengers as well.
Recently a bi-weekly Duronto Express train was launched between these two terminals. Moreover Karnataka Sampark-Kranti, Andhra Pradesh Sampark Kranti ,Andhra Pradesh express, Kongu express , Dakshin express and Bangalore Rajdhani Express are very good superfast trains between these two cities.
